Private Aircraft Charter to Thousand Oaks FAQ

What do I need to think about when chartering to Thousand Oaks?

Although there are no airports in the city of Thousand Oaks, three airports are located in the immediate area. Closest to Thousand Oaks is Camarillo Airport – CMA - which has more than enough runway for all classes of aircraft and great ground handling facilities. CMA is only about 10 miles away, so drive times are just about 15-minutes long. A bit further away is Oxnard Airport – OXR- which is ideal for guests who will be visiting the coastal communities and beaches near Thousand Oaks. The runway is shorter than most, so it is best for turboprops and light jets. Van Nuys Airport – VNY – is the region’s largest airport for charter flights, and it is perfectly positioned for guests visiting the entire L.A. Basin. And with very long runways and multiple ground handling facilities, VNY is well-suited to accommodate the largest jets.
