Central Nebraska Regional (KGRI / GRI / GRI) is a regional airport located in Grand Island, Nebraska, United States. The airport has a rich history dating back to 1942 when it was established as the Grand Island Army Airfield. During World War II, the airfield trained over 25,000 pilots, navigators, and aviation mechanics. After the war, the airfield was transferred to the City of Grand Island and has since been developed into a modern airport.
