While every part of the year is a great time to come to Pasadena, the city is in all its glory during the holiday season. Held on New Year’s Day, The Tournament of Roses Parade is spectacular sight where floats completely covered in flowers and ornamental plants follow the five-and-a-half-mile route through Pasadena. Throughout the year there are festivals, concerts and events including Make Music Pasadena, Pasadena Chalk Festival and Craftsmen Weekend. Movie lovers should head to ArcLight Pasadena and its screenings of classics, first runs and independent films. Those looking for some time on the fairway can stop by Brookside Park. It is right next to the Rose Bowl Stadium and features two 18-hole courses.

Private Aircraft Charter to Pasadena FAQ

What do I need to think about when chartering to Pasadena?

Guests heading to Pasadena have two airports nearby that welcome business jets and have excellent facilities. Bob Hope Airport – BUR - is in the city of Burbank and is only a 20-minute drive away from Pasadena. There are long runways at BUR, so this is the place to arrive if you will be in mid-sized jets and above. BUR airport sits at the northern side of Los Angeles and right near Interstate 5. This means that places like Malibu, Santa Barbara, Ventura and the entire Los Angeles basin are easily accessible from it. Another option for those arriving in turboprops and light jets is Whiteman Airport – WHP. WHP is in north of Pasadena in the town of Alhambra, and the drive is just about 25 minutes. WHP airport is right next to the Angeles National Forest so many of the region’s best outdoor adventures are a short drive away. Many guests prefer WHP airport due to its lack of commercial airline service, meaning less traffic and smaller crowds for fast and easy access.
