Country Music's Biggest Celebration
Taking place over four days each June is the CMA Music Festival. Held annually by the Country Music Association, the festival takes place in Nashville, TN, which is the epicenter of country music. At this 46th edition of the event, all of country music’s biggest stars will gather to celebrate the most popular music in the United States. Its humble beginnings were known as Fan Fair, back in 1972, with just 5,000 people attending. Since then, however, it has grown into one of country music’s premier events. These days, the CMA Music Festival showcases over 400 artists and regularly sees over a quarter-million guests. During the festival, there are 100’s of performances spanning every style of country music. Fans love it for the many artist meet-and-greets, autograph opportunities and events held by major record labels and fan clubs. Taking place at venues throughout downtown Nashville, the CMA Music Festival is a great way to spend time in this amazing city and experience one of country music’s biggest events.
The Riverfront Park Stage, set along the Cumberland River at Riverfront Park, is where country music’s stars from the past will perform along with its youngest talent and up-and-coming stars. Once the sun goes down, the lights will be bright at Nissan Stadium where, all in one place, the biggest artists and labels of Country Music will be. While the lineup for the 2022 CMA Music Festival won’t be announced until March of 2022, rest assured that it will include country music’s biggest stars. Previous years have seen great including Kenny Rogers, Garth Brooks, Keith urban. And Nashville is the perfect city for a weekend getaway with top hotels, restaurants and amazing BBQ all right downtown.
Guests headed to the 2022 CMA Music Festival in Nashville can rest assured knowing that Nashville’s airports are conveniently located and well-equipped to serve business jets. Nashville International Airport - BNA, on the east side of the city, is the region’s major international airport and can easily handle all sizes of aircraft. It's about 10-miles from downtown Nashville and takes about 25-minutes by car, depending on traffic and time of day. On the other side of town is John C Tune Airport – JWN. While the airport is not as big as BNA, the runway is good for all sizes of jets and no airline services means less traffic. JWN is only eight miles from downtown Nashville so guests can expect a 15-20-minute drive.
