Private Aircraft Charter to Truckee FAQ

What do I need to think about when chartering to Truckee?

Lake Tahoe and the surrounding region is served by airports at the lakes north and south ends. Truckee-Tahoe Airport – TRK, is just outside the town of Truckee and about 10-minute drive from Lake Tahoe’s northern tip. It is centrally located for quick access to downtown Truckee and 15 minutes from Northstar California resort. TRK airport is well-equipped to handle the winter weather and has more than enough runway for all sizes of aircraft. Guests visiting the southern part of Tahoe will find Lake Tahoe Airport – TVL - perfectly suits their needs. TVL Airport sits next to the town of South Lake Tahoe and is right on Highways 89 and 50. Places like Heavenly Mountain Resort, Emerald Bay and the Nevada casinos are all a short drive away from TVL airport. And like Truckee Airport, TVL has enough space for long runways and enough space for every class of charter jet.
