Private Aircraft Charter to Mesa FAQ

What do I need to think about when chartering to Mesa?

Mesa is located in the Phoenix metropolitan area, which gives guests the benefit of having many airports to choose to serve their charter flights. The closest airport to Mesa is Falcon Field Airport – FFZ - which is just about 9 miles away and about a 20-minute drive. Because of its shorter runway, FFZ is best suited for aircraft classes from turboprops up to mid-sized jets. FFZ is at the northeast part of the Phoenix and it provides quick access to the Tonto National Forest and McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport – IWA – is on east side of the Phoenix area and very close to the Chandler and Chandler. IWA has 10,000 foot runways and it can comfortably accommodate all sizes and classes of business aircraft. Chandler Municipal Airport – CHD – is a third option that, like FFZ airport, is ideal for smaller aircraft. CHD is set near Interstate 10 so reaching both Phoenix to the north and Tucson to the south is a breeze.
