What do I need to think about when chartering to Sedona?
Although Sedona is in a fairly secluded part of Arizona, it is still well-served by two great airports that welcome charter flights to the region. Sedona Airport – SEZ - is the closest to town at just about three miles away with a 10-minute drive. Interstate 20 is only 21 miles from SEZ so guests have easy access Flagstaff to the north and the entire Phoenix Metropolitan to the south. Sedona Airport’s runway is slightly shorter than most so it is best for mid-size jets and turboprops. Guests coming to Sedona in larger aircraft can use Flagstaff Pulliam Airport – FLG – which is about 25-miles and 45 minutes away by car. FLG is also idea for guests who will be also visiting Flagstaff as well as those heading to the Grand Canyon, The Kaibab National Forrest and northern Arizona’s open spaces.
